DETECTION - Early Detection with Monitored Smoke Detectors

Most properly maintained smoke detectors installed in homes will certainly do what they were designed to do. However, unless smoke detectors are properly maintained including replacement of batteries on a regular basis. periodic testing, and replacement at least every 10 years, smoke detectors may fail to function properly at the most crucial time without any advance indication that there is a problem!  Our Ultimate Fire Safety Solution is designed to address and prevent this potentially tragic situation before it occurs.

Stand alone fire monitoring system for your home:
At Palladium, we have taken home fire safety one step further by adding at least one monitored smoke detector (in addition to the existing smoke detectors) within the home. 
 

How it Works...Our state-of-the-art smoke detectors are connected to a security system panel and programmed to transmit regular signals to our 24-hour ULC monitoring facility.  Upon receipt of a fire signal, our highly trained personnel will take immediate action to dispatch the local fire department as well as to warn the home occupants to vacate the home immediately.   Carbon Monoxide Detection? - Wireless CO2 detectors can also be monitored. (See home owner benefits below.)

  ESCAPE - with the Airbag for The Home

Fires are known to spread very quickly and can reach untenable conditions in less than 3 minutes!  When escape through lower level exits is not possible, the installation of a PEARL Fire Escape Ladder in the upper level (2nd and 3rd storey) bedrooms provides your family with an alternate escape route out of the home.

• Early Smoke Detection: Monitored smoke detector will immediately send a signal to the monitoring station.
   
• Home Owner & Authorities Alerted: Trained monitoring personnel will take immediate action to notify the local fire department and call the home.
   
• Added Valuable Minutes: Early smoke detection & notification may provide home occupants additional life saving seconds to escape from the fire.
   
• Built-in Panic Alarm: A contact placed on the inside of the door will alert our monitoring station if the door should be opened and will take immediate action.  This added feature can be activated in the event of any emergency including home invasions.
   
• Carbon Monoxide Detection: Optional carbon monoxide detectors (CO2) can also be connected to the system for no additional monitoring charges.
   
• Low Battery & Tampering Notifications: Signals will be transmitted to the monitoring station in the event that the detector has been tampered with, is inoperative, or requires new batteries. Monitoring station personnel will notify home owners and Palladium of these conditions. This will ensure that the smoke detector is in good operating condition at all times.
   
• Quick Escape from Upper Floors:  The installation of a PEARL ladder provides a means of escape in the event of a quickly spreading fire.

What if I already have a security system?
Monitored smoke detectors can easily be added to your existing home alarm.  If you are already a Palladium customer, simply contact us and we can easily arrange to install wireless smoke detectors to your existing security system.

If you own security system but do not have an existing monitoring contract, please contact us to arrange for installation of monitored smoke detectors and installation of the PEARL ladder.

If you are currently contracted with another security company, simply contact your security dealer and ask them about installing a monitored smoke detector and have them contact Palladium regarding the PEARL ladder.
